Meet Caitlin, the founder and lead artist of Bar Harbor Beauty.

Though I’ve technically been doing makeup and hair for my whole life, my professional beauty career began in 2009 at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in Macy’s Herald Square, New York. In my first year there, I became the top-selling employee nationwide. I later traveled as a Bobbi Brown Featured Artist, taught Bobbi makeup classes, and spoke at Emerson College about freelance makeup artistry.

After retail, I built a private client base and assisted many top industry artists, gaining experience with A-list celebrities, major photographers, and luxury brands. I worked Fashion Week in New York, London, Milan and Paris. I was later represented by Art Department in NYC and LA, working with MAC, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, and many more.

Now based in Bar Harbor, Maine, my focus is on Bridal and Private Clients—bringing editorial expertise to personalized beauty. My passion is making every person feel like the most beautiful version of themselves while not feeling like they have a lot of makeup on.
